I’d been hankering for broadband until I finally got it a year ago. BSNL’s 512 kbps “DataOne” with a 5 GB per month data transfer limit (up and down!) is not really broadband, but it’s a start.
I used to hanker, now that I’ve got “broadband” it’s mostly ranting. It’s a long story (sordid too) and it’s all told on blogs and online discussion forums such as the India Broadband Forum, VinuThomas.com, and the Broadband Blog – the blog’s tagline is “Ring Side view of Indian Telecom Circus” haha, yes it is a circus at the moment.
So, that’s where you should go if you want a ring-side view of the circus :-) and visit the sites regularly to stay up to speed on the whole “broadband India” topic.
